Our Confession Of Faith

We believe in the Bible as the Holy Scriptures which is inspired by the Holy Spirit to give us the written Word of God.

We believe in the Holy Godhead of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit being one and equal as God while functioning as individual personalities of the Godhead trinity.

We believe that God created, in the beginning, the heavens and the earth and everything that is contained therein.

We believe that God is the Author and Sustainer of life, eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient in existence and almighty in power and authority.

We believe in the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as the Son of God, conceived and born of the virgin birth of Mary, lived on earth as a full human being, did miracles, taught people, crucified, died, buried, rose again on the third day, ascended to the Father in heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for the saints and the world.

We believe that salvation of the human soul is only through accepting Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the work He did of shedding His own precious blood for the remission of sins.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of the church.

We believe in water baptism by triune immersion in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit to all believers who can accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and can repent of their sins.

We believe children without an understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what he has done for them cannot be baptized in water but can be dedicated by their parents to the Lord and can be blessed.

We believe in the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe in all believers having the fruit of the Holy Spirit and exercising the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Holy Spirit as God proceeding from the Father and the Son, whose work is to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment and to lead the church into all truths.

We believe in all believers partaking in the Holy Communion as a sacrament.

We believe in the second return of Jesus Christ to take away his church from the earth when the dead in Christ shall rise first and those who will be living shall be changed and caught up into the skies and together shall be with Him forever.

We believe in the resurrection of the body and eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

We believe in the new heaven and the new earth where God will reign in glory.

We believe in a day of judgment when Christ will judge the living and the dead.

We believe that Satan (also called the devil, Lucifer, and the old serpent) and his fallen angels (also called demons) do exist in the spiritual realm and are mighty in power in this world but our God is Almighty in power.

We believe that Satan and his fallen angels together with all the wicked people shall finally be condemned and sentenced to eternal punishment in a lake of fire.
